  • This is Woori’s service to open client’s foreign accounts in advance before their entry to the corresponding country.

  • Students who will be studying abroad
  • Scheduled emigrants to another country
• Application Procedure
  • Visit Branch in person and submit application forms with necessary documents
  • Choose one of applicable branches. Then, details of request and relevant documents will be passed on to the branch.
  • The account number will be informed to you after the branch completes opening the account.

  • Visit the foreign branch in person after entry to the country with relevant documents such as passport or a certificate of residence for verification.

Woori Saudara Bank Account Opening Service for Indonesian Residents in Korea

• What is this service?
  • This is Woori’s service to open Indonesian resident’s accounts in Woori Saudara Bank in Indonesia. This service aims to make it more convenient for Indonesian clients who are working in Korea to transfer their money to their family in motherland.
  • The account will be opened under joint name of the applicant and his/her family.

• Where can I apply for this service?
  • You can visit any Woori Bank branch in Korea and apply for this service.
• Preference Given
  • ATM card issuing commission : WAIVED (IDR 20,000)
  • Minimum account opening deposit : WAIVED (IDR 50,000)
  • For the remittance request to Woori Saudara Bank, the transfer will be processed on the same day and relevant clearing fee will be discounted.
• Account Opening In Korea
  • Visit Branch in person and submit application forms with necessary documents.
  • Choose one of applicable branches. Then, details of request and relevant documents will be passed on to the Woori Saudara Bank.
• Withdrawal In Indonesia
  • Woori Saudara Bank ’s pre-designated branch will inform the applicant’s family or relatives who is co-owner of the account that the account opening request has been submitted
  • Co-owner visit the branch in person with the relevant identifications. The account opening will be finalized and the ATM card will be issued after verifying co-owner’s identification.
  • Co-owner withdraw money from ATM.

Account Pre-Opening service for Indonesians who will be domiciled in Korea

• What is this service?
  • This is Woori’s service for Indonesian workers who will be domiciled in Korea to open accounts in Korea before their arrival.
  • Visit available branch in Indonesia and submit application forms with necessary documents. The bankbook will be given from available Woori Bank in Korea after your arrival.
